Hey, welcome back to another Bonus Episode of The Leaky Bucket Podcast.

Today, this bonus episode, um, gonna talk about Episode 26 and it's with Dr. Victor Manzo.

What was really intriguing and interesting here with this episode is that Vic fell into the normal process of what a lot of us, I think are doing.

We're consuming lots of self-help books, we're consuming lots of business books. We're consuming lots of podcasts related to that, Audio books, lots of stuff where we're looking at how successful people are operating, running their lives.

I think we're looking at what we can take and implement from those, either from one particular person where we're trying to emulate maybe what they're doing and go,

if we could just get a little bit of their success, that would really, really work.

Then maybe also just taking little snippets maybe from multiple different people and we're looking at how can we stitch all of those together?

And I think what was interesting about Vic was that actually he was saying that,

What if you don't do that?

What if you just connect spiritually with yourself, understand what your underlying true beliefs are and your direction and be able to visualize maybe where you are going and what aligns with you?

What if you just made the efforts to live that life that you really, truly believe that you should live, and that actually you don't question it.

Like when success comes to you and you can't maybe really identify where it came from rather than going,

But how do I recreate that?
Oh, how can I make that stay?

And what if we did just go,

yeah, but it just is what it is. It's great. And actually, I did take actions that made that happen. I don't maybe specifically know what they are and I don't really know how I'm gonna replicate them, but actually I just need to trust that actually they were the right actions and they led to the right result.

And actually, that will continue to lead to more of the great right results coming forward.

I also thought it was really interesting how he then went to, Conversations with God.

He obviously read a lot of books and I thought we're not going to get the default ones and it's no disrespect to those people.

But, you know, something maybe like Start with Why from Simon Sinek or Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich, or The Richest Man in Babylon or I don't know -any of these various books.

I feel like they're often, the stock answers of lots of people who, that they're their books that shifted them through.

They've really seen some clarity and new way of living and then maybe trying to replicate it and yet, this book was highly spiritual and it's very deep.

And yet that's what Vic's using to guide and I think he called it his Bible in terms of that's leading his life forward. And I think the really interesting thing that Vic brought out here is to go, actually this is another demonstration and reason of to go actually there isn't just one path to success.

Actually, you need to stop looking maybe for other people who have been successful and then go,

How do I replicate what they've done and what they do?

but actually just go,

Actually, how do I recognize that what I'm doing is wanted and needed within this world and that I can make it successful?  and

then what am I doing in order to make sure that I'm moving towards that and I have energy in that right direction to do the right things.

It's interesting that also challenged my own thoughts and concepts on mindset in terms of how we're getting in our own way. And it's interesting how Vic challenged those thoughts and those beliefs.

And again, not to say that I'm wrong or he's wrong, but

both of us potentially are right.

So that was really interesting I think also that Vic believes that potentially spiritually, we are potentially limitless in terms of what we're able to try to achieve.

But there are some other aspects and things that can hold us back.

He's got this effortless life that he's trying to lead.

You know, this goal of only working six hours per week, which I'm sure for many of us just seems absolutely miles away from what we can really achieve.

But that's when Vic tried to, when he sort explained the concepts of buying behind what he's doing and how he's doing that, and he's not getting caught up in exploring and understanding things and then going down rabbit holes and trying to cover his weaknesses.

I think that was really interesting to go, actually, maybe this is far closer and more achievable than what we possibly thought.

And I think generally it was all around just an interesting approach in terms of obviously Vic's been there and had a highly successful chiropractic practice. He's clearly very scientific. He's clearly very clever, and I think it's very easy for any of us to go,

oh, spirituality, ugh.

And it's, maybe, it's the game of, it's like wizardry and it's not for intelligent people and clever people, and yet, Vic was saying was that, once he had got  that business that was built on logic and it was built on, this are what you should do to serve your customers and make sure people want to come to you, and that actually maybe you make yourself as available possible to them, and that really will grow.

That he didn't feel fulfilled,

he didn't feel successful,

he didn't feel like he was living a life that he was meant to live.

Actually, he took those brave decisions to scale back the business and to rebuild it in such a fashion that it is purposefully created to ensure that he feels fulfilled.

I think that's highly empowering and I think that maybe there's some great lessons that we can all lead and learn from that in terms of what are we doing to make sure that we lead a fulfilling life.

I think maybe just take some reflection and just go,

What am I doing to make sure that I'm potentially allowing spirituality into my own life?

Maybe it doesn't have to be as such a deep level, and that as what Vic is. But actually, that element to go,

How am I getting in my own way and stopping myself from being fulfilled and
What really is fulfilled and success to me, and
Am I engineering that into my life?

Thanks so much again for listening. It is been an absolute pleasure.

And it continues to open up great avenues for me in terms of areas of my own expansion and understanding of what makes people successful.

And I hope it's doing the same for you.
