I also can't help but acknowledge that his mission might seem like fighting an impossible fight for some people.‍

As I reflect on our latest guest, Andrew Caldera, I can't help but feel that he brings a very different perspective to our show. His mission to promote a more fulfilling and meaningful life through his program called "The Way" is truly admirable.

However, I also can't help but acknowledge that his mission might seem like fighting an impossible fight for some people.

Andrew believes that the way in which the world has developed and grown is not necessarily for the good of the planet, the human race, or even ourselves.

He proposes seven steps to living a more fulfilling life that include focusing less on wealth and greed and more on helping others through supporting great causes, such as building parks, providing clean water, sanitation, and education to those who cannot afford it.

Although I find Andrew's mission inspiring, I also think that he is up against a tough challenge.

Most of us understand the world as it is and would love to help others, but we often have our own challenges and struggles to overcome first.

It takes a degree of effort to go out and help others, and many of us might feel that we don't have the time, money, or inclination to do so.

As a host, I can relate to this feeling.

In the past, I have been that person who pretended to have everything together, even when I didn't.

I would put out content that portrayed me as having it all, even when I knew that wasn't the case. It took me a long time to let go of that facade and be honest with myself and others about where I was at.

That said, I do believe that there is a right way to live our lives, and Andrew's thoughts and beliefs on this matter are definitely worth exploring.

His emphasis on caring about others and acknowledging that our personal challenges and struggles follow us wherever we go is a powerful reminder that we are all one human being, not multiple.

While I'm not convinced that there will be a rush to sign up for Andrew's program or donate money to his cause, I do think that we can all learn from his message.

We can ask ourselves,

"How am I being more purposeful about what I'm doing?"

and make sure that our actions are not making the problem worse.

Overall, Andrew's episode was thought-provoking, and I appreciate the different perspective that he brought to our show.

It's not easy to live a purposeful life with meaning and care for others outside of our immediate circle, but it's a challenge worth exploring.
